Naturmil Beta-Carotene is a dietary supplement that prepares the skin for sun exposure, facilitates tanning, and prevents sun allergies. With its protective effect on cells, it strengthens the epidermis's resistance to external aggressions. It is useful during the growth period, especially in children, as it is involved in the formation of various tissues.

If consumed in excess or in some pathological conditions (hyperlipidemia, diabetes, nephrotic syndrome or hyperthyroidism), it can cause hypercarotenoidemia, which manifests as a yellowish coloration in the skin (particularly on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet), but which disappears with the reduction or remission of consumption.
